We never saw Sinube’s fate in the animated series, but that appears to be a standing mystery that Obi-Wan Kenobi has laid to rest. Sinube was a minor character who was nonetheless easy to love on The Clone Wars due to his wise and patient demeanor. This is strongly believed to be Tera Sinube, a Jedi who featured in several episodes of The Clone Wars animated series, most notably a season 2 episode called “Lightsaber Lost” where the kindly old Jedi helped Ahsoka Tano reclaim her lightsaber after it was stolen by a criminal on Coruscant. The first and most prominent face we see is a lanky Cosian, who has white braids dangling on either side of their face.

But what we do know is that many Force-wielders met their end in this chamber, including at least one familiar character from The Clone Wars animated series who it hurts our hearts to imagine suffering such a tragic fate. The reason these Jedi are preserved in this amber substance beneath the fortress isn’t made clear they could be trophies, or bait, or anything in between. The mystery surrounding the fate of the Jedi and Force-sensitive children captured by the Empire was something that Tala (Indira Varma) brought up in Episode 3, and the following episode answered that question in a particularly brutal way. While Obi-Wan (Ewan McGregor) has wrestled with his guilt over the downfall of the Jedi order and loss of his brother-in-arms Anakin (Hayden Christensen) all season, nowhere was the knife twisted worse than when he came across a tomb deep in the bowels of the fortress that contained the petrified remains of Force-sensitive people the Inquisitors had captured. Given the series' placement in 9 BBY and looking at what is known about Star Wars history at that time, fans can get a better picture of what the Jedi Master might encounter. The latest episode of Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi saw our titular Jedi Master infiltrate the Fortress Inquisitorius in order to rescue young Princess Leia (Vivien Lyra Blair) from the clutches of Reva (Moses Ingram).

The events and characters listed here are only a fraction of what's taking place in the galaxy during the time of Obi-Wan Kenobi. The Star Wars universe has many moving parts constantly happening in conjunction with each other. While it's not entirely clear just when Boba started working for Jabba, Star Wars: Age of Rebellion - Jabba the Hutt indicates that the bounty hunter started working for the gangest at some point between, or slightly before, 10 BBY and 4ABY. That being said, there's a chance that Boba Fett might have a cameo, as the bounty hunter began working for Jabba at some point prior to the events of A New Hope. This makes the chances of Maul's appearance slim, as Rebels doesn't take place until 5 BBY.

Maul and Kenobi duel in Star Wars Rebels, but Maul was only able to find Obi-Wan with Ezra Bridger's help, who doesn't appear until that series. Much to the dismay of fans, Darth Maul likely won't appear in Obi-Wan Kenobi.
